Residents of the Oyster River Community (Durham) are questioning the behavior of some in their school district.
They are concerned about the wasting of taxpayer money by the Oyster River School District.
An audit of all purchases will be done this coming Tuesday and the results will be published.
In a nutshell, some residents are accusing the district of:
– wasting money by choosing existing vendors and not following the generally accepted purchasing policy.
– holding policy debate discussions in private violating NH public meeting laws
They state that the chair of the school board is stating in writing that she has discussed issues with the entire board when that was not the case.
