“CONCORD – Nashua officials are halfway to carving out a new exception to the state’s Right-to-Know Law to permit private talks between public boards about pending labor contracts prior to a final vote.

Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau sought the bill (HB 309) after a judge ruled in 2008 that the city broke the law when the mayor, Board of Aldermen and Board of Education met privately to try to avert a teachers strike.”
