A few years back, Bedford NH built its own high school and then promptly turned control of the curriculum over to the United Nations, at a cost.
In addition to the objectionable nature of that situation, the cost of the whole system is nearly $67M and while it employs 333 administrative and/or support people, there are only 274 actual classroom subject teachers!
Needless to say the taxpayers of Bedford, who currently lack a viable taxpayer advocacy group, (because one has no right to complain about something they caused) need your help.
The first school deliberative session will be held on February 2, 2010. If you live in Bedford, PLEASE ATTEND.

Check with your own individual town and school departments for deliberative sessions and town meeting sessions where you CAN ATTEND, SPEAK YOUR MIND, and CONTROL YOUR TAXES. Ask for information ahead — budgets, enrollments, etc.
It isn’t just the feds and state who are out of control, it’s a pandemic in the towns and school districts too.
Pitfalls: These folks may show up at your meetings — be prepared.
