A vote will be taken in the House on HB 1635 prohibiting the open carrying of a firearm in a public building.
Please contact your Representatives to let them know you OPPOSE any restrictions on your second amendment rights.
Note: In 2008, a bill, HB1354, was introduced to “prohibit a person, other than a law enforcement officer, from carrying a firearm or any other weapon in the state house or legislative office building.”
It was decisively defeated.
