If voters in prison in NH were allowed to cast votes in the community in which they are incarcerated, residing, they would have the same political power as out-of-state student voters. But the NH ACLU and League of Women Voters don’t go bat in court for prison voters like they do non-resident students.
Same with people in the military. They must vote in their home town – not on base. Less clout for those who serve. Must be they are often from the “wrong” Party.
