House Votes To Return $333K To Federal Government
CONCORD, N.H. — The Republican-dominated House has voted to return $333,000 of a $1 million federal government award to New Hampshire for planning a state health insurance exchange under the Affordable Care Act.
The House voted 218-79 Thursday to send back the money so the state would not be obligated to participate in the program. The other $667,000 has already been refused by the state. The Senate next considers the bill.
