NHAC and Friends ‘Pork Roast’ Grand Success
ROCHESTER, NH – Despite foul weather, hundreds of attendees made NHAC’s “Pork Roast” picnic event, named so in dubious honor of the massive wasteful spending that is being done by the majority at the national level, a grand success. The event was co-sponsored by groups that included the NH Advantage Coalition, CNHT, The NH 912 Project, Cornerstone Policy Research, WTPL 107.7 FM the Pulse, and featured important speakers and candidates.
While attendees ate and mingled and shopped at booths from the many participating groups, speeches by those such as Governor Sununu and upcoming candidates including Portsmouth businessman Jack Kimball who is considering a run for governor, were well received. The Governor, who is now Chairman of the NH GOP, made no bones about the harsh effect the Democrats have had on our state and national governments.
Dr. Jim Forsythe, a 17-year Air Force pilot and aerospace engineer addressed the crowd. He talked about freedom, liberty and states’ rights.
Rep. Jenn Coffey spoke about health care. While not doing her duties as a NH State Rep, Coffey is a health care professional.
