Moultonborough Speaks features an article which decries disrespect for the NH’s 91:A or Right to Know law.

It would seem that Judges are misinterpreting the law as well, as seen by the recent ruling that upheld the actions of an Atkinson Moderator when he blatantly denied an Atkinson citizen the right to photograph a town meeting, citing the fact that the Moderator is allowed to prevent ‘disruptions’.

However the mere act of recording the meeting cannot in and of itself be viewed as a “disruption” since it is allowed for by law. The Moderator in question has since resigned.
